Julie is originally from Edmundston, New Brunswick, but has called Dieppe home since childhood. She completed a Bachelor of Science (specialization in Biochemistry) at the Université de Moncton. During her university career she had the opportunity to work in a research laboratory, where her focus was on brain cancer research.

During this period Julie received several scholarships from NSERC and the Canadian Brain Tumor Foundation, and was invited to present her results at several conferences in the Maritimes and Quebec. She also co-authored three scientific papers.

Intellectual challenges, diversified fields of practice and especially her desire to help others are what motivate Julie the most at work. Her knowledge of medical concepts relevant to personal injury allow her to put her scientific background to work in order to help her clients.

Outside the office, Julie enjoys hiking, camping, cooking and traveling.
