Jason is originally from Timmins, Ontario. After completing a degree in history and criminology, he worked as a legal assistant in a law firm practicing insurance law.
After having that initial experience with the legal profession, he decided to enroll in law at the Université de Moncton, where he received the Foster & Company scholarship for the highest grades in insurance law. He wrote his final thesis on compensation for motor vehicle accident victims under Canada’s no-fault plans.
Jason has worked as a law student at Fidelis since April 2018 and graduated from law school in May 2019. His empathy towards Fidelis’ clients motivates him to find solutions to their situation.
Jason enjoys sports, especially hockey, basketball and golf. He and his fiancée have a little dog named Reese. Jason champions the fight against cystic fibrosis; among other efforts, he was coordinator of The Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History in 2019.
